Golden Parnassus (Adults only) ***** AI

Haha, OK I'll look out for them!

 

My girlfriend and I are each 20 years old and will be staying at the GP for a week in a couple of days. After reading through these 30 or so pages, I'm a little concerend with the age groups and their difference. It seems like the GP is mostly a place for 30's 40's and up. Can someone reassure me that we will have a great time even if we seem to be younger than most of the crowd?

 

Age has never seemed to matter at any AI we've ever vacationed at...people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond all interrelate regardless of their age...and everyone seems to act the SAME age...trust me, age doesn't matter. As a matter of fact, on our last vacation at the Golden Parnassus, we hung out with a newlywed couple in their 20s as well as a retired couple in their early 70s...and we're in our late 40s/early 50s... and we all felt like we were the same age....

I would agree that age wont matter if you are looking to just have fun. Our group will be there tomorrow until next Tues. Come find my ugly mug and have a drink with us. I'm not hard to spot, just look for the big guy!

I just got back from GP last week, and the age group is very mixed. I am 24 years old, and I met tons of people in their 20's and 30's. There are also a lot of older people too. But TRUST ME, the age of the crowd will not affect you having a great time. You will have a great time, believe me. Don't stress about it. I was a little worried too, but I had the time of my life there.

They need to put some money in the resort. We had absolutely the worst room we've ever had. They have been running at or near 100% occupancy. The only resort doing that. With that said, we got in Sunday, and went to Coco Bongo's that night. A huge group of about 20 of us. Got back to the resort at 4:30am....went and ate at the 24 hour snack bar, and watched the sun come up. Not a bad 1st day!!!!!

Had a very good time, but the place is not as good as it used to be. You will still have a great time I'm sure. Its time for us to try something new again.
