Have fun guys!!!!! Only going once this year. Second week of december. Our first time in december. Sun goes down to early, but we get to leave the cold here.

Good news is that Johnny with the entertainment staff is back at the Golden from the Great. He's awesome!!!! Carlos is there some as well. It will be a great time.

 

Hey Corona Couple -- If you could just let me know how things went would be great. HOw was hotel entertainment? Do they have a booze crusie? we will be there Saturday - Wednesday, what clubs are good to hit thoses days?

They go to CocoBongo's on Wed(its been wed. for years, doubt its changed), and thats the night to go with the entertainment staff. Don't know if that will work for you though. Its best to go with the staff...they get you better seating, service, etc..... Each night they go to a different one. We like Daddy rocks as well. CocoBongo's can get REALLY crowded on the weekend.

The hotel itself does not have a booze cruise, but you can sure go on one, and book it at the hotel if you want.

 

Corona couple, bandit, rlin, etc..... where are the trip reports??????? Is Johnny back on the entertainment staff at the Golden?

 

I am wondering what happened to Corona couple. Have not been on since trip. Maybe they stayed.

 

I heard Johnny was back, but I am worried of all the reviews on trip advisor about all of the over booking it happened when we went down in Feb and yousee it more and more now the send you to the Great but it isnt the same. I like this resort just wished they could get there booking problems figured out

 

I have been watching that too. It appears to me it is through internet booking. I went through travel agent and also have contact hotel to confirm reservation for Oct. I will be calling them a couple of days before I go.

I was just giving the forum a shot in the arm. We are 12 weeks away from leaving. Would like to hear from anyone that has been lately. Is the bartender that likes hats still there? I was thinking of bringing him a Dallas Cowboys hat.

 

Not gonna make this year we are gonna miss it I still come on here to catch all the news goin on down in Cancun have fun in twelve weeks wish we could be goin too.

 

We talked to Johnny by email the other day. Says he was just over at the Golden for a short time helping out, but is back at the Great now.

Dec. 6th-13th.....we are only about 90 days away!!! Our 6th trip to the GP.
