Golden Parnassus (Adults only) ***** AI

Don't know about those Hotels,but we have been to Blue Bay Getaway 4 straight years and love the atmosphere If you like to party and have a blast,BBG is for you We are going back April28th -May 5th.

 

I personally don't think you can go wrong with Golden Parnassus or BBG. The beach is a lot nicer at Golden Parnassus , but the activites at the BBG are a lot more risque than at the Golden. I could get Bacardi at the Parnassus where I could not at BBG or at least not unless I upgraded. I liked the BBG because the quite pool is separate from the activities pool. There are good and bad points about both of them. All in all they are both a lot of fun. Just remember to let yourself go and take everything in stride and you will have fun.

 

We are big beach people....love the waves, etc.....that gives the GP the edge for us. We will be there in about 47 days!!!

 

GCPSGirl...glad to see you've booked...we'll try not to drink the Tiki Bar dry before you arrive!

 

Semo......we look forward to seeing you sunday, and going to My Place on monday. I know you leave the next day, but you can go for a little while at least!

 

We actually booked the Great Parnassus. We are there from the 1st of june thru the 7th. Got 7 days, six nights with airfare at the Great for something like $1,350 bucks total for both of us!!! It was to good to pass up. Many of our old friends from the Golden now work at the Great. All the entertainment staff, and others in management.

We will either ask to be moved to the Golden, or we may just stay there and be around our friends some, but go to the Golden every morning around 8am and stay until 6pm or so......the wife enjoys topless sunbathing.....We just don't know if we can handle kids....lol

Look for us friday afternoon, or for sure saturday morning!@

Jack & Betty...that IS a great price, especially with the air included! Don't blame you at all for staying at "Great" instead of "Golden", just as long as you head over to "Golden" for the days (and also some of the nights at the Tiki Bar and/or some Cancun nightlife with folks from "Golden")...

 

49 days. I am trying to think of all the things I am not going to do. I plan on sitting by the sea or the pool most of the time during the day. Night time is play it by ear. My Place is on the list and of course Margaritaville. Other than that it is eating and drinking and meeting lots of people. I can't wait.

 

Anyone been here very recently?

Was thinking about it seriously.

 

I'd love to see a recent trip report from the Golden.......only ones i've ever read are on TA...not many trip reports posted besides the ones on bbg.
