four of us are going down to cancun for cdn reading week... we all booked through travelocity to stay at the Hyatt but another friend is going to cancun with his air miles on the same flight as we are... what is usually the hotel cost for him to stay in one of our two rooms???? and do most hotels have problems with this?????
Yeah, I'd like to know the answer to this too. If someone just gets the plane trip, and then wants to get in your room once in cancun. They'll probably charge an arm and a leg.
not much of a help but in 06 a mate hadnt booked with us and just got a random flight out to match ours and paid for our hotel when he got there. all i know is he ended up paying less than we did and we paid about £900 each for 2 weeks AI at Oasis Viva. But i think he called the hotel beforehand or something to make sure he could add onto our rooms.
what? Howd that work? I have 1 bud that wants to come but, cant scrap money in time to get a package. I wanted him to book the flight, then try to get in my room once we're there. Maybe I'll call them and see what they say. If he pays less, im sure he'll like that.
yeah i think it probably depends on the hotel but if you have room it shouldnt be a problem. definatley contact the hotel before though. i dont know how it worked out but he was pretty lucky. even managed to get a free ride on our transfer coach.
Well I have had this happen previously. But your person, could have issues. First off they won't have the all inclusive bracelet unless they purchase one. And the hotels check for these bracelets constantly. In the bars, entering the hotel at the end of the night. This bracelet lets the hotel know you are registered at the hotel, and if he plans to just crash there..well.. And when they add him to the room it up solely up to the hotel whether they choose to let him int he room or not, and they can be pricey... I would call aheaad and see what your options are first
Yeah thats how I imagined it might go. Except for mr lucky up there. Well if he gets his money together, I'll call them up and see what they say. Is security heavy? How hard is it to sneak a person up stairs? :lol: Think they'll notice a rope hanging down from one of the rooms? lol
