Well our trip started off bad as our travel agent screwed up and missed a flight cancellation for United. Our first night was spent in Denver in the middle of nowhere with nothing around to do. Eventually at 3:30 pm the next day we made it down to Temptations and when we got there we went straight to the pool running into Sheila and Bob, Chris and Julie and meeting a few others form the cancuncare group. Started off drinking traffic lights and before I knew it I was loaded and so glad to be in Cancun or as I like to call it (home). We partied at the pool and eventually go out and went for supper and then dancing at Nice shoes. Too damm hot in Nice shoes and my hair…………. Oh God my hair……….totally out of control. Welcome to Cancun the land of &&&$%ed hair. Saturday, I only remember up to 12:18pm. Started off hard in the pool, with 4 double komakazie shots, then another 4 doubles courtesy of Javier and I was loaded after those. Eventually I met Peggy and Michelle. Peggy said “Monique here’s a komakazie” lol, “It’s too strong for me”. Enough said, I was challenge and drank the poisoned komakazie .That was at 12:00 pm or so. Spent the next few minutes talking to Gigi a girl I saved from the claws of two dirty old men the night before when she was drunk and don’t even remember ordering a drink after that but, Javier said I had at least another 20 shots after that. 1:30pm – Lol Glenn and Bill carry Monique to the room. No memory of that at all. The rest of the day………… Oh God sooooooooooo sick and not very fun to say the least but hubby forgives me. Thanks babysitter and gave the maid a $20.00 tip. Sunday taking it easy today, and started off the day with my work out as usual then break and horse shoes. Drinking only diet coke, lol I can’t even bring myself, to drink or even order another komakazie. Played in the pool with Trina, Derrick, Dave, Rosa, Greg and Tina, Ruth ,Lynn, and the gang. Had fun but, not the same being sober. Played in the pool until 5:00pm and went for supper at 6:00pm at the Italian restaurant with Tina and Greg. Mmmmmmmmmmm Veal………love the veal there. After supper headed to Nice shoes to dance the night away but Nice shoes was dead so brought out the Sour Puss shots at Padyio’s ( spelt that wrong I’m sure). Lol a little of home to help me recover………drank the whole 40 oz……….. and felt much better. I guess this trip I am the only one with a appreciation for Sour Puss. More for me. Hahaha! Happy anniversary……..18 years for Glenn and I. Once again I worked out going running and doing weights. Had the absolutely best workout today, must be thanks to Sour puss and all that sugar. Breakfast and more partying……… the days are looking just like the day before. Played volleyball and had a blast……… love being in the sun and partying. Glenn and I totally forgot to book supper and here we were on our anniversary doomed to eat at the buffet. Food sucked and Glenn wouldn’t eat cause it was Chinese night and he doesn’t eat Chinese food. He went to see Pedro to see if we could get in to the restaurants. Pedro, he’s the man, got us into the seafood restaurant. 10.00 tip helps I guess. So off we went to eat and after supper rushed to go see the show at Nice shoes. It was the quest……. fine but not the same as it was in the old Nice Shoes. God I miss Anything Goes. Night entertainment is just not the same as 4 or 5 years ago when the games were racier and fun. Started dancing after the Quest and partied there until 12:00 then off for Temptation late night burgers. Well all the days are starting to look the same. Working out, breakfast, horseshoes, booze, partying, dancing, and late night fat busting burgers that go straight to my ass. Oh and don’t forget sex and channel 12. Yep, sex and a 10 foot mirror (nice), making our own porn daily, and balcony sex. Sorry Tom didn’t know we had you as a neighbor when we played on the balcony day after day. Lol, didn’t have a view worth a damm so we made our own. Oh well, kind of an exhibitionist as you can tell from the huge granny bikinis I wore daily pool side. LOL I haven’t got one tan line. Another night of scary Cancun hair; I‘ve given up and gone curly pool side and try to straighten the damm hair at night only to walk out and go curly all over again. Dancing at Nice shoes and sweating my ass off. God it is so humid. Partied with the gang once again and in an attempt to cool off after dancing went for a burger and ocean breeze. This trip is just not as much fun as past trips. Nice Shoes is just not the same and the atmosphere is just not there like it used to be when it had walk by traffic. Wednesday and feeling home sick for cool weather and skin that is not on fire. I’m hurting today and suffering the usually Cancun sunburn………what I wouldn’t do for skin that can handle suntan lotion and the heat. Always break out in a rash from the lotion. Went running today, sad run at best but hell still haven’t missed a work out so I am happy. Back to the pool for more sun, horseshoes, blind volley ball (that was a blast) and of course drinking. Drinking, more drinking, and afternoon sex, then more drinking. Days are running into each other and my liver is suffering. I’m waking up shaky as hell and my blood sugar is totally out of control (I’m hypoglycemic). I’m loving every minute of it. More dancing, sex, and partying. Who could ask for anything more. Booze cruise day, I am excited. Worked out and headed to the pool. Struggled to drink, (lol I have already had enough drinking). Komakazies aren’t the same or maybe I am just sick of them so I have moved onto Rainbow shots and the bartenders are complaining about making them. They learn pretty fast that I do compensate them for their hard work and are now fighting to make my drinks every time I order. Partied in the hot tub, again this trip is not the same as past. Not our best trip. Booze cruise night the boat was so rocky I ended up with 5 or 6 drinks on me. Off to the hotel from the booze cruise and Kathy and I get raked into stripping in the bar. Down to a lace G string (lol that’s where I stop) we jumped into the pool and partied in the pool finishing off my second 40 ouncer of Sour Puss. Most are afraid to drink cause of the rocky boat ride. Tom, Ruth, Pam, Kathy, and I all dance on the boat all the way back to Temptations. K, Pam it was more like break dancing as we spent a lot of time on our asses on the floor of the boat or falling over from the rockiness. Hell I think we were oblivious to any danger and had a blast. Love every minute as usual on the boat.Burgers when we got back to Temptations. Friday, Naked tequila today. Ahhhhhhhhh I am so there and of course on Lalo’s team and the winning team. Yep the winning team, no humiliation for me this trip but lots for Glenn. Hahaha! Lalo won’t lt him be on our team. I guess that’s not true, I ended up naked pool side during Mr. Temptations giving Bob my bottoms that had just had another competitor eat a Sunday off me topless. Yep I guess he made the best sundae out of me not missing any spots. Trust me he didn’t miss any (almost channel 12). Took me a while to get all the cinnamon and chocolate out of my thong. Just wondering what kind of sundae has All Bran and cinnamon in it. Mexican sundae Yuk, bet I tasted good. Anyways I parted his goatie and found me a new boyfriend as Glenn puts it.. After all that they took our swim suits and threw them up on the pool deck making us get out of the water to get them. Not humiliated though, remember I am an exhibitionist. Lol strutted my naked stuff. Our last full day. Drinking hard today and the rainbow shots are flowing all day. Yes I still worked out today and I haven’t missed one yet this trip. I’m hoping that once again I won’t gain 5 lbs again. Damm I hate that. Well vacationing so who gives a shit. Deal with it later right. Today was fun, got lots of great pics and said goodbye to a few. Partying hard today, another great day in the pool and more memories of good times. Dancing of course t Nice shoes, just didn’t do the bar scene this trip. Maybe that is what is missing. Either way we have had a blast and will most likely be back within the year. Woke up and packed, worked out, played horse shoes and then return to the room to salvage the hair before I leave. Didn’t work came out and it was raining and just the humidity of that made it go curly once again. Said my goodbyes and got ready to leave. Soooooooo ready to go home this trip, my skin is on fire and relief is just a plane ride away. Flew to phoenix and then off to Edmonton. Home at last……… missed home…….. and straight hair. Straight hair at last and another great memory of Temptations. Thanks everyone for helping make it a great time. Nice meeting or reunited with you all. Monique, I'm surprised at you. You couldn't drink?! Glad you had fun, sorry it wasn't as fun as it had been in the past. Book your next trip yet?
Nope peg haven't booked my next one............... maybe April subject to vacation now with work. Damm not like when i was just doing personal training.
Monique it was so good to finally get to meet you . Sorry we didn't get to party a lot . We got sooo wasted our first night on the booze cruise we tryed to hold it down the rest of the short time we were there . We agree that Nice Shoes is not the same...We need to go again to get it right!!!
