STOMACH FLU LOOKS LIKE WE STARTED A HELPFUL POST FOR EVERYBODY, SEEMS LIKE YOU TRY THE PEPTO, BUT IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET THE FLU, TAKE THE CIPRO, EVERYBODY HAVE A GREAT VACATION, REMEMBER YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE
I've gotten sick a couple of times after returning home from Cancun. The first trip was 2 weeks after returning. I ended up in the emergency room and they thought they were going to take out my appendix. After several conversations and a quick mention of us returning from Mexico the doctor gave me Cipro. And sure enough, in about a day and a half, I was better. This past August I had the same thing happen only it was 3 days after we returned. (I hadn't gotten sick the 4 times in between those 2 trips) So again, they gave me Cipro and I got better - slowly. This trip, I've got my perscription to take with me and I'm crossing my fingers I don't have to go through that again. Maybe if I just continue to drink as much when I get home I won't get sick....
hydrate As a previous post said, drink bottled water to stay hydrated because alcohol is dehydrating. We used to buy it from the mini mart across the street from the resort. Do they provide it in the rooms now? Do all rooms have mini fridges since the switch to TTR? Liv
