Our whole groupe got sick last year not at TTR, and other people staying at the hotel too. it was horrible. My dr told me next time i go she will give me a prescription for Cipro she said if you start taking it the moment you feel sick.

You can look on-line and most of the sites I saw were selling these at around $89 $99, I bough the original from the manufacture for $49 at this site works on AA batteries and kills viruses, and bacteria, bugs in water! Yeah, I know...I actually asked for this for Christmas and didn't get it. I kinda like survival gear and this was something I didn't have, so figured I could use it in Mexico. My son got ill in Mexico. Both my kids have been to Mexico several times, and learned the hard way not to drink the water. If nothing else check out the site and have a good chuckle on me!!!! Those would be good in a pinch but personally I wouldn't use that above the bottle of water that's given to you in your room. Granted you would become my best friend if we were stranded in the jungle lol!
Yeah! My son thinks I'm a little off sometimes, then we have a winter like this and I believe he is quite grateful for the emergency winter gear/kit I have packed in his trunk for him and the family. They would survive if they broke down as well! So ya just never know...
i had problems from isla muejers with the water also a different time my sister n law and i was at playa delphines and she baught a bottle of water that was selling drinks on the beach but never any problems from TTR
