If it was the food, I hope you guys ate it all and they get fresh in before we get there. :huh: Seriously, sorry you guys got sick. We have never had a problem before.
It couldn't have been the case with me. I was there only just over 24 hours and had not drank much at all.
I was okay the first 2 1/2 days and then I was so sick. I still at least tried going outside for the sunshine, but it definitly ruined a couple days of our vacation. Try to do something! I wish you the best....
Hard to say what it was, but definitely a few people were down with it. I ate anything I wanted, and drank blender drinks all day and was fine. So I don't think it was the food or ice, though I didn't have any of the water. I did eat pineapple after every meal, something a local told me in Dom. Rep.
Here's a thought: maybe it was just a very bad stomach flu going around. We all the have symptoms of stomach flu from what i understand so maybe it was just going around. Just a thought
We were there from the 7th to the 14th. On the 4th day, I started getting bad stomach pains... excusing myself every half hour, if you know what I mean. Still managed to have fun but on the last day, I was throwing up and getting dehydrated...slept all day. By 6pm my husband made me go to have at least some soup broth. It did me a world of good. We were there last year and had no issues. Anyway, still gona go back next year; I have to make up the days that I missed!!
I was there from the 3rd - 10th and had the runs from the 2nd or 3rd day there until 3 days after I got back... No puking though... I pretty much only ate at the buffet's and late night burgers at Paddy O's... I also tried drinking 1 drink of water for every 3 or 4 rum drinks I had. I don't think the word constipation is in the dictionary in Mexico.
I arrived on the 8th....was sick from the 10th thru today. I've been home since the 16th. I'm not a big drinker and was never drunk, the only thing I feel it may have been was the scrambled eggs in the buffet line...they were abit saucy.
That might be it...I had an omlet most of the mornings....maybe a bad batch of eggs? But it may be like Dan said...just a bug going around....Dan..did u give it to me?
