My wife is a Crossfit nut. There are gyms nearby, if you're that dedicated. Drawback, I think we paid about $20 or $30 round trip for taxi. Also, if you bring a tshirt from your box I think you can get a free drop in. The gym at TTR was ok, I also only used the facility once. However, I have turned over a new leaf (ABC item, or should I have said palm frond) and have been exercising more.
I was pleasantly shocked by the gym. It is far better then most gyms at resorts or apartment complexes I have been in. it is a little jam packed with equipment so if there are to many people working out it could get tight. Other then that I enjoyed the change from a CrossFit gym to that. I hope they did not change it to much or lose it all together , we are going for a week and even on vacation I will need to workout a couple times. That is if I can fit my workout gear in with all my theme night attire.
Last time I went in a swim suit cover-up and flip flops. LOL it was not attractive. Squats naked are not good I don't care what you say.
I remember the one time I was working out in the gym, and someone just came over to me and said "Steve I think you should just stop and go to the bar." I thought for a second, thanked them for the advice, and did just that (after a shower). I leave the room with the best intentions not realizing I am probably still drunk.
Sounds like my husband lol! We're consciously trying, cut out soda, not eating out, etc. But dammit, it took me years to become a good cook and now he's spoiled to it! Advocare is helping though!
I can proudly say, though we work out regularly back at home... neither Stacia or I have EVER even set foot in the gym at TTR. If I need activity... I can get that in other ways... if the joints need loosening up, there's the Sexy Pool and the sexy lady I'm chasing around in it. I'm all good and no need to work out. And yes, I understand that is probably not the right attitude to have.
