cleaned up eating a lot!! the pounds I put on in one year, scary! but it is what it is. I will work my hardest for the 4 months. hope at least 20 down. I could be happy with that. Will miss my pizza! nothing else really comes to mind when I cut out the bad foods. sweets, a lot of meat, hambergers ect. but pizza I always feel like its a sacrifice!!
A lot of great info. Jen & Kyle + Mark & Staci, agree with a lot of what you mentioned. We've decreased our bad carb intake, minimize/eliminated sugar and fake sweeteners (aspartame, etc.) We joined Orange Theory, great workouts, you get cardio and weights, you get max fat burning, and you get variety - each workout is different and fun, and you can easily monitor how hard you're working. It's personal training in a group setting. We think it's a whole lifestyle shift (diet, exercise, attitude). At the very least be active; go for walks, move around, do gardening, etc. Minimize your time sitting on the couch. We're by no means anywhere close to perfect, but we're feeling better, stronger, and sexier
I feel you on the lacking pizza thing. Stacia just went to one of our local favorites (not near the all time favorite) place to get a pizza, BJ's Brewpub. Great pan style pizza, for Texas anyway.... doesn't really compare to what you can lay your hands on and teeth into in Chicago, say..... I started a thread on what I've been doing to strip gut off in the Free for All forum, and I'm sure nobody "really" went over there to look at it, just by checking how many views it had (49 as of a few minutes ago), as compared with, say the Butts, Boobs and Boats thread... which had 5,550! I know people want a new tool to get rid of a few pounds, so y'all should check this out. Taking Ketones, well... drinking them I should Say On it 2 months, dropped I'd estimate 20, maybe 25 pounds of fat and put on 10 pounds of muscle, I'm guessing. It ain't scientific, but it IS working.
Huh, just re-read that post, and I want to clarify something. It is ME who is not scientific, the reporting of the results, LOL! The stuff itself is supported all over the place with scientific research data. OK, that's now fixed. LOL! Sorry about that.
it's so funny months away from all of us going to Temptations . We all want to tone up I know everybody talks about low carbs I love bread and I love cookies I love donuts when you say low carbs per day how many of those can I have? I lost almost 20 lb a year ago and it's a constant fight everyday to try to keep it offI've gained about five back. I have a hard time with diets because I'm not a fruit and vegetable person or chicken though I do love sushi I wish I was like my husband he can cut out soda alcohol and all the bad stuff if I don't have my chocolate everyday and coffee I would be a mad woman so cutting my portions has probably save me the most and stepping on the scale everyday it's a motivator I probably could work out a little more thanks for all the info I read above it's motivating me to be better
though I was proud of myself we went to Vegas for 10 days and only ate at 1 Buffet though they are tempting
We did a diet using hcg with no carbs but lost a lot of wait men lose a lb a day the wife's lose 1/2 pounds a day and that's not fair to the lady's but in 6 weeks that's still a lot of lbs and no exercise but also no alcohol that was tough because we like the booze
