I am kind of square or vshape depending on what time of day you get me. In the early mornings im V shape. In the evenings after stuffing my face all day im more square. But not SQUARE like your thinking Far from square, very far.
We have been working out steady for YEARS! Sometimes it can get discouraging as you see 5-10lbs creep back on, but hey we like to EAT!! And, on the other side, its not just about the outside, as we age, we are glad we are keeping the inside fit because it's hard to move some days, I can't imagine how hard it would be if we didn't keep active. I (Michelle) have been sick and out of the gym for a week or so, and I can feel the extra lbs hovering, but there is always "Monday", I know that I will feel better and get back on track. Its great to have someone as your partner to do it with you as well. Of course, TTR folks are the greatest, no matter the shape or size! M
A nice looking body is great but, a nice personality and great attitude is the most important thing to have when you come to TTR
I used to hate working out! Now I can't stop, I do take a day off here and there, but then my body starts to crave it like a drug.
hav n fun Hi, main thing is eating right and working out with weights or machines no more than one hr a day, 6 days a week, ex monday chest triceps, tuesday back and biceps and wed shoulders and legs and day off and repeat process, giving ur body a day off will help rebuild, try eating 6 small meals a day and if u wanted to on ur day off u can do some cardio, but the main thing is eating correctly other wise just go on vacation and have a blast, nobody really cares at Temptations, you'll see all types of shapes and sizes Mike
My question is, if atkins worked for you why wouldn't you go back to it? Just wondering cause been thinking and checking it out and wonder if I'm missing somthing negitive about it?
as with any diet if your not going to make it a lifechange and go back to eating the way you did before.. the weight comes back..but the beginning of Atkins (induction) is the hardest.. then you have to find your carb number. could be 100 grams of carbs per day or could be 50 g .. it all depends on how your body process the carbs..
Finding that magic number for YOUR BODY is kind of the key. Currently I am about 200g per day of carbs, and 525 grams protein. I guess you could call it atkinds, but I only eat this way when I want to lean out. Normally I sit about 2700 calories from protein and 1100 from carbs Each persons metabolism is slightly different, mostly its based on how much lean tissue you hold. Take your time and find what works for you.
LOL I understand that I'm just wondering if somthing works why would a person change.. I understand that sometimes people give up or go back to the way they were, but why wouldn't you go back to what worked before, why somthing else? Is it because the (induction) is so difficult?
