The resort will sometimes overbook, so on a busy Saturday maybe 105 couples are arriving, but only 100 are checking out. In theory then, 5 couples may be offered the option to spend a night or two at Desire if there are rooms available there.
No room at the Inn I thought we already posted this, but there must be another similar thread. Last year we arrived late (10pm-ish) on the second Saturday of March. They had no rooms left, and were going to send us to Desire. We were meeting friends at TTR that had arrived earlier that day, so we obviously did not want to go. Long story short, they had no rooms available, so we had no bargaining room. They wanted to send us for three days, and we said that was unacceptable - when could we have a room the next day. Miraculously, one of the large suites at the top of the block beyond the quiet pool "opened" up the next day at 2pm. We stayed there for the rest of the week. As for the first night, we crashed with our friends.
We wont mind getting bumped for a day or 2 and see what the hype is all about. Also obviously getting to enjoy 2 different resorts at one vaca would be a bonus, in my opinion, but it cannot be on a Lingerie night or on the school night....my wife might not leave :aktion051: its couples only right:lurking:
Any recent travelers able to report the situation regarding "the bump"? Have they been offering other places? We are heading down soon and it appears to be fully booked.
