He must work there, he knows for a fact that these things can't happen. Because we all know that reservations never just come availible. I have been offered the same thing along with other perks but never accepted. I took the original post as it was. Just an example of, but not limited to, perks, offers and benifits of being bumped.
We just got back Friday after a week at TTR. Before we left my wife said that they were full and was wondering the same thing about getting bumped. But as it may when we arrived I asked if they had any rooms near the quiet pool and the lady at the front desk said she would check but they were pretty full. I said do what you can and I understand. She put us in a jacuzzi room at no extra charge and the wife slipped her $20 as a thank you. So I would not worry.
I would like to know that too...DO they only bump ppl that have reservation and have not fully paid? Or do they go by the way the reservation was made I.E Expedia, travle agent, etc..??
While I was there in January I talked to a couple guests that were bumped to Desire for a night or 2. I got one of the ocean view jacuzzi suites at no charge because of over booking.
Hope this doesn't happen to us(or anyone else). We booked here to stay here mainly because of the great sounding people on this site. If too many get bumped we'll just have a new theme night. lingerie slumber party?
WAS TALKING TO SOME PEOPLE WHEN I WAS THERE LAST WEEKEND AND THEY WERE BUMPED LAST FRIDAY May 7, just a heads up......
The resort was extremely busy last Friday May 7th. Not surprised. Saturday alot of people went home. We have never been bumped.
