If we get bumped to Desire we would be happy... however if it's to GP or Sea Adventure we would be very pissed...instead we rather stay in our friends room and get some free Coco Bongo tickets and upgraded suite for the trouble
Simple solution, since you are single they won't send you to Desire. As for the Golden Parnassus, they'd be more likely to send you to the Great Parnassus, which is a family resort (apparently they often have people bumped too) Just tell them that's not an option because you are supposed to stay 500 feet away from kids, then look down and don't elaborate... :aktion069: Also watch their reaction as they start to add up what that cryptic reason could be!
I think it's a bit crazy that they could bump anyone to anywhere. We put a lot of thought and consideration into the resort we wanted to stay at before booking. They need to have a cancellation policy in place that protects them from no-shows and not overbook.
Just like airlines, it tends to happen once in a while sadly. But at the same time there isn't anything you can really do about it so may as well go assuming all will be well and make lemonade from lemons if you have to.
Since we're getting in a few days earlier than most of the big crew, I'm not too concerned with getting bumped... But hell... If they give us a refund plus some free nights or something, I'm sure we can bunk with friends.. (hint hint)
