Do you want to enjoy your vacation! !?? Than no tattoo for you. .. It will stay with you long time get it done professionally. Just a 2 cent.
I have gotten tattoos every year I have been my first year was off resort but the last 4 years have been at the resort and done by Miguel and like his work he has also become a great friend over the years I have also been tattoed there on the second day of our holiday and it never slowed me down the biggest thing is maintaining fresh ink I've found some products you can use on fresh tattoos and go in the pool right afterwards with no problems
I know a few people who have had good experiences getting tattoos done at the resort. Just make sure you plan it on your last or second last day to ensure it won't get infected from dirty pool water etc and keep it clean. He does good work.
I got my nipples pierced there and have had no problems with them...no infection or pain. Love them!! But I did do it on day before I left.
I think I would wait and get one from someone you have researched or was recommended to you. Also, like everyone has mentioned, after care is crucial. Just a side note...Too funny not to share. I saw a tattoo on a guy, he had a row of ants crawling up the backside of one of his legs towards his butt. On the other leg they were crawling down and some had pieces of corn!!!! Lol
A lot of the HnH crew from last year might remember I got a tattoo on Halloween afternoon from Miguel. I asked a lot of questions before hand, sanitary, quality, location the tatoo would be done. ( on the resort ) What to do and use for after care. Miguel was very professional and knowledgeable. The man is a certified dermatologist in the hospital in Cancun. Who better to get a tattoo done by. I know one of the entertainment staff you all like, Miguel has done about 50% of his art. I had no issues or problems at all with his work. My tattoo took 4 hours that afternoon, yup it was sore that night but by the next day it wasn't bad at all. The cream he suggests you buy is a MUST and follow exactly what he says. Miguel has been tattooing for I believe over 30 years professionally. Hell if I make it back this year for HnH week ( waiting on oil and gas prices for a job ! ) I'll more than likely get him to add to what we did last year!
my wife got her's done on our last day last May. she loves it!! as others stated, Miguel is professional, and very easy to work with. he does ask a lot questions, and goes over everything he does step by step. highly recommended.
