If I had my way, I would enact a law that would land you ppl six months in the slammer for giving socks for xmas....or for any occassion at all. Socks keep piling up in my drawers. I probably have 40 pair with tags still on. I can't blame Santa tho, he never made it to my place. All the booby traps were intact when we came back from Calif. Hope ya all had a great Xmas!
I got to spend Xmas in Darwin with Alison and we had 24 people over for a buffet by the pool! It was great to have a warm Xmas for the first time ever, v.different it was. Present-wise, I got a load of cash from my parents, Nans & Sister and also t-shirts from my Sis & parents. My Mum sent me over a stocking with loads of little wrapped gifts in like earrings, diary etc and Alison got me a top and some shoes. I did well! Spoke to my family on the phone and they're all well. Weird not to see 'em for Xmas though.
I got a gift card to my favorite clothing store here, some Calvin Klein perfume, and a digital camera from Kevin. The girls got me a puppy dog foot massager pillow thing and a bamboo basket full of coconut soaps/lotions/etc. Oh, and I got 4 new visors, 3 addidas and 1 nike. One red, one white, one black, and one navy. YAY! Kevin got clothes from me, including a University of Texas Longhorn polo. (we are in OU Sooner country). The girls got him a new tape measure (not cheap), and a Longhorn basketball goal. Then we surprised him with a new 18 inch gas powered chainsaw with case. He was very surprised. I had a great christmas. The girls had an even better christmas...they got a ton of stuff. We are truly blessed. p.s. wish I had gotten a Cancun trip...that would have been great! we aren't done with Christmas yet...we celebrate with our family next weekend in Texas.
A slow cooker for the kitchen from my mum and dad along with some new crockery, a couple of books some chocolate off of my sister and nephew, a nasty letter from the credit card company ( bastards, I knew I shouldnt have opended that , but they played it cool this year and hid it in a christamas card, unlike last year where they hid the statement in a redeemable bill for a 42" plasma TV at the local mall...... wont fall for that one again :lol: ) and apart from all the other usual high st vouchers and cash off of various family members added to varied threats from various pubs and landlords to behave myself in thier boozers over the forth comming year I consider this chrimbo a successess. i received a sony camcorder ( love love love love love it!) I received a purse I have been wanting a long time FILLED with bath and body works products!! I received another gift of bath and body works as well. I also got $ for bath and body work LOL ( LoVE bath and body works) I received two outfits and a night gown! a ice tea maker! a sandwich maker. New Ear bugs for my mp3 player ( love em!) to go along with my camcorder I received a firewire cord, movie editing program and a camcorder bag. They got me everything I need to upload the video to the net and burn dvd's! I revcevied some nice new undies also ( LOL i asked for these!) I received a sandwich maker , a neckless set and lots of other goodies! they spoiled me this year. I was blown away!! OH and best of all I was promised a family trip to cancun this year or the next !
