Well we only been to TTR once before and I have to say we had just as much fun with single guys there then with couples but there was no groups of single guys when we went, a few of them were 2 guys traveling together but no big groups, the people we met last time were all respectful and fun including single guys and women. The only guy that I seen being disrespectful touching other women without there permission happened to be part of a couple and his wife didn't look too impressed so I think it comes down to who it is and not if your single or not.
Well, just be aware that if your a single guy at Patty Os at 5 Am and you want to get rowdy, they will treat you like a wilted tomato plant and spray you with a garden hose.
I can say that the only "problem" we had last year was not from a single guy, but from a very pushy couple. Dont remember conversing with any single guys though. Use common sense and it'll all be good.
If I was single. I would not come to TTR, I would be looking for a resort with a lot of single females, just my opinion.
In Jamaica, the single Jamaican men assume that we American husbands have so "neglected" our wifes for so long they are DESPERATE for their attention. Its really more of a good laugh rather than a threat!!! My wife is a natural redhead and one of these Romeos walked up to her and said "Oh,, good looking lady, you must eat a lot of Lobster" I've heard a lot of pickup lines, but that had to be the "best". LOL
I think I'd look for a fun adults only resort with the best atmosphere and coolest people...and in many people's opinion, that's Temptation. Not everyone goes on vacation to get laid.
Regarding our post, we dont think we said, at any point, that a single guy SHOULD NOT go to Temptation. We realize they are someones son, and brother (lol)...we simply said if theres such ongoing debate on both sides of the coin regarding single men, why would a single guy choose this spot as a destination? Nobody is denying the fun aspect of Temptation, but we think most realize it is an atmosphere that caters to adults in a sexy environment. We think it's safe to assume that most, if not all of the singles that go down there (whether they are respectful or not), are hoping to find themselves in a sexy setting, at some point. And if thats the scenario, wouldn't the singles be better suited at a singles destination? Just our opinion, we certainly are not going around petitioning that all singles be banned, especially since they are, of course, someone's son, and brother . We respect both sides of this debate, and the singles wont bother us in the least, we just both know if we were single, on vacation, there has to be a better location for this fun type of adult, sexy, fun than Temptation, be it single man, or woman.
We love TTR because everyone is welcome...singles, couples, big and small and from all locations of the world. We would never discourage anyone from planning their first trip to TTR.
