The prices have been steadily increasing here over the last few months. The government needs to recoup the lost revenue due to theft from pipelines up north. Millions of gallons are being siphoned off illegally.
Are the gas stations in Canada full service as it is here? Plus, the attendants clean your windows while you wait.

Wow, I knew val had used an old number as it does cost $9.60 for a liter of Magna. I have been keeping track of my mileage and it seems like every 2-3 weeks, the squeeze a little more blood from our turnips, i.e. Pesos from our Wallets.

There are both full and self service stations in most Canadian cities. Although full service ones are becoming less and less common because it's cheaper not to have that person on payroll. I prefer pumping my own gas personally.

I'll still take $2.80 a gallon over what they are paying in the states and most places elsewhere :)

Are those distillates, Poco? Are they produced in the U.S. (perhaps from Mexican crude), then shipped to Mexico? (That may be the case, but I haven't been following this piece of news.)

Still $9.69 for a liter of Magna here. Price has not changed in a couple of weeks.

Last night we paid here in Toronto 1.39cad , but the price was going up over night to at about 1.45cad.
Thats for 87oct. When my other car comes out in the summer is when the pain settles in. Since I run 94oct on it I will probably pay close to 1.60cad .

    Oh Canada!!
