With gas prices increasing like they are these days, everyone could use a break when doing a "fill-up." This little tool can prove to be quite helpful ... and it does work! You may want to pass it along to others. You merely input your zip code and the program automatically updates with the cheapest gas prices and locations in that area. Gas Prices - MSN Autos Don't think it works for areas outside the U.S. And not all gas stations participate, I'm sure.
I laugh, it used to be $32 to fill my truck when I got it in 1999. Then 45, then 55 then 65. This last summer it was at one time over $75 to fill it with 33 gallons. Now for the humor, my truck get 10mpg in town if I am in a good mood or 8.5 when I am not. On the highway I am lucky and get 13 or 14. Cheap gas really sucks, the cheap gas (ethanol) drops about 1 to 2 mpg. Also all stations in my area are owned by the same company. Along with the (magic) price matching that they do to equal the price for us in Iowa to match Wisconsin who has higher gas taxes it sucks. The good thing is my therapist told me I shouldn't let the high gas prices effect me, since it could effect my issues with other driver and cause me to harm the other drivers. I don't think that I have a problem with road rage, so I don't. I learned that denial is the best solution for most problems. Gas prices are not that high are they? Happy thoughts Jim
