As in what you have a view of or what the resort considers them? I believe a good portion of those are going to be considered ocean view because you can kinda of see the ocean from them
I believe they are considered ocean view even though they face the pool.. the ground floor are Jacuzzi rooms and are about 50 to 60 $ a night more, the second floor are standard and should not be that much more if at all seeing you have premier room. The picture was of the back of my door in the room. I can never remember the room number I was in and wanted to remember it for next time going on three! I can't show you the picture I took right before that one.
I think any of the rooms around the quiet pool (and the sexy pool) are considered Ocean View. As I understand it, "Garden View" means the rooms that face out towards the road. They're definitely cheaper, but you can't see the ocean at all, plus you have to deal with the sounds of cars and trucks and buses all night long. (Not to mention you'd probably have to avoid any "fun" on your balcony. Just not worth it in my book but YMMV.
we prefer quiet pool side.. we like to afternoon nap.. in September we had first floor our balcony was facing the bar..maybe room 1106 we loved it .. didn't have to stagger up any stairs..lol.. had a Jacuzzi balcony and it had a beautiful view of the ocean.. and right beside the quiet pool..
if its your first time .. maybe take a walk around to see where you want to be or ask them if you can see a few rooms before you decide on one .. we are really fine with any room at the quiet pool except the one in the corner right behind the Italian restaurant first floor..it may be a jacuzzi room but all you see is the restaurant.. and the staff coming and going
