Full closure is still necessary, but will not be until June 2016 at the earliest. Please note the plans seem to change frequently and what eventually happens may not match the above.
will there be anyone who tells the truth in TTR. We had a sit down in october when we were there and was going to upgrade our premier and asked what was happening and was told they could not close it down because of the money they would lose. I dont think we will ever know until you arrive at the place and they are closed.
You will likely not be told much. From what I've experienced, read, and been told, rumors have been perpetuated over several years and most know very little about the future. Nothing is concrete so they won't even speculate. Until something is set in stone, I would doubt you'll be told much.
May would be great, but we have a few kids spring sports to plan around, so June works a little better. I think we'll be there in June this year, and most likely again in the first week of December. It's close enough we can get there fairly quick, and we'll watch for room deals to make it happen.
okay, so when it closes all the groups need to stay together and take over another resort! Adult only and just say f-it and take of your tops and make our own entertainment! Either the other resorts will lose business because we freak the other ones out and the hotels will pay TTR to hurry up, or change there theme and TTR will hurry up and get it fixed.
We're hoping that they manage to stay on their June 2016 schedule and have things good to go by May 2017...that way we'll still make both our May trips. Plans will probably change a hundred times before anything happens, though.
I feel like after the renovation the price will go up significantly and we will be finding another resort
