In our two trips, we've seen some funny stuff but most of it is the usual stuff that everyone sees. There are two things that we still giggle about from last summer: Two boys, probably 15-ish, made their way to the Sexy Pool and walked around with wide eyes before security caught them and escorted them off the premises. They obviously won a bet and became heroes to all the other teenage boys and they got a memory bank full of visual pictures that have probably been used many times since. The second was Eduardo, the pool attendant, joining in during the foam party, supplying tequila for thirsty party people and those in need of doing body shots. The grin on his face was one of pure joy.
That was a great story, lmao. We too come from a small town. We have been to TTR several times, Oct & Feb each year. It is really is a small world. Two trips ago, we were talking with a few people by the Sexy Pool. Just chatting about different things. They were on their last couple of days. I knew that I recognized the guy from somewhere. Bob says to me, you think you know everyone, which usually I do:icon_smile:. So this last trip there, we saw them again. It turns out, we do know them and they are from the same town. His Dad lives two streets down from us. And, we know close to 30 of the same people from back home. It was all good though, had a great time. Ang
does the cancun airport count?? at the airport back in bbg days-- 1st and a very lonely suitcase making numerous trips----around and around it went. great baggage handler!!! apparently a very large lady's bag came undone. repacked and sent on this lonely journey-- had a pair of panties super stretched over one end of the bag-- yep yellow in front and brown in the back service stripes.
On our "virgin" trip to BBG for our delayed honeymoon trip, we went with ~65 people from a club that we belong to. Being with a large contingent and using a travel agency, they had kept all our bags together upon arrival at the airport (2003 airport was a lot smaller as many may know). Anyway while waiting for customs one of the pieces of luggage (not ours luckily) began to make "noises".... Of course this caused a bit of concern with the first airport personnel who first went to the bag. One of the couples stepped forward and made claim to the bag and swore that it was nothing dangerous. By now a small contingent of airport security had gathered around the bag. They carefully brought it to where they scan the luggage, and after scanning it put it up on a metal table to open it up... after opening it up.. they discovered what was causing the noise. To the embarrassment of the couple who owned the bag and to the delightful glee of the airport personnel and all of us who were close enough to see what was happening, one of the security guards, after moving some of the clothing, brought out and raised over his head a rather large vibrator. Obviously the batteries were not removed PRIOR to packing it and the switch had somehow gotten tripped... And that's how we started our fun filled first time 7 day trip to BBG/TTR
