So. We booked with Fun and Sun on Sept. 30, like everyone else. Called them and they gave us a booking verification number. Kept calling and finally received a hotel confirmation number. I have been watching this thread closely and finally I called Temptations and they tell us we have a reservation that has not been paid for by Fun and Sun. Then I call Fun and Sun and I get the line that they are no longer affiliated with Temptations and they are not going to honour our confirmation that they sent us. I hit the roof. When were these theives going to call us. The day we arrived at the hotel. These people need to be put out of business. " Class action lawsuit" anyone?

Not his cache. I am seeing the same as Donald. The phonies still have up the ad pretending to be Temptations although they say they are not affiliated on the phone and can't sell. My favorite part is the '100% satisfaction guaranteed' emblem on the left side of the page from the 'Internet claim enforcer'. That made up Internet claim enforcer is not doing a good job satisfying us with our make believe vacation reservations.
I just had another idea. I am going to pretend to book a bunch of make believe vacations on their website and then not call them to pretend I am verifying my fake confirmation.
Fraud fraud fraud yes it is,,, it is not the pic posted. Thats how much they copy the real TTR site The F and S site is ..''temptationscancun.net'' ,,, the headline on Google says ''Temptation Resort''. Clearly misleading. Their name does not appear (obviously any way ,I cant see it) own their own web page. Even 2 weeks after they know they can't (won't) fulfill their contract there is still people out there that have not been informed. This is clearly a ploy to sell them an alternate resort or a time share at the last minute.
Please! ok everyone that was effected by Fun and Sun and have had to make different arrangements due to thier poor business practices, I beg of you, even if you feel like I am going over the top I would implore you to please help me. I am compiling a list of all the people effected by this scam to be able to hand over to the Florida Dept of Consumer Services and the Federal Trade Commission, along with only my story. I can not speak for you or gaurantee they will hear anything about your case unless you file on behalf of yourself. I would like to prove a sence of patterning and that this was NOT a one time occurance as they say. If you could PLEASE pm me with the following info, I will NOT share with anyone and will only use it as the tool I have explained. Your real names date purchased date charged date of your reservation your contact email how many times you have called or emailed trying to resolve the issue Thank you for all your help! Scott, I'll send u my info sometime today. I just called F&S to ask about my refund and was told that it should have already been taken care of and they will do a follow up to see what may have happened. More of a run around.
Scott: Ours should be in your inbox. It does have a whiff of class action smell to it. I never saw anything on the cancellation or was anything discussed in the phone conversation about releasing them of any responsibilities by accepting the refund.
When I had called,, their answers were rehearsed,, and even though they were the ones not able to fulfill ,, they kept saying ""So YOU want to cancel.?"" They wanted ME to agree to cancelling even thought they could not fullfill.So its on the record that I cancelled. Morally I know they broke a lot of laws,, legally,, I don't know. Maybe there's a lawyer out there that can give an opinion, or send it to one of us so we can re-post it ominously . Informing the public is a good avenue to get back at them.
