In our comments card at departure every time I say two things... 1. You need a community hot tub 2. Change the stupid name of the resort We don't tell ANYONE anymore. Too many Temptation island references (that fox show years back) and prying questions result. We either say, oh I don't know my wife/husband booked it or TTR or BBG. Yesterday in the middle of a serious work meeting when there was a pause while someone was fixing a webex issue someone turns to me and says so Kyle where did you stay in cancun? Since we just got back I couldn't claim I didn't know so I said BBG. He looks at me puzzled and says, hmmm, I got married in cancun and go back several times a year. I don't know of any current place named BBG. I just responded with well it was way better than being home with three kids. If they would just change the name then we all wouldn't have to deal with prying questions. If I would of said Temptations then the whole meeting would of been like what? Instead of one guy being wise.
Joni speaking.....Heck....everybody I told I gave an explicit description too!!! Cause nobody knows the TTR side of me!!! I felt liberated telling anybody and everybody where I was going!!! I got a few looks but I kinda liked that!!! Mostly everybody just kinda says "um, hunh" ......more afraid to share an opposing opinion afraid it would make them look like a prude!!! If your the kinda person to go to TTR you can prob handle a few concerned looks!!! Have a great trip!!!
Kyle I understand your challenges at your workplace. Corporate and public sector "professional" environments are full of many Dudley & Dina Do_rights who are or are pretending to be way too straight laced. Instead the world needs more Dude and Dominatrix Do_fun employees who go play on their time off. Not read a technical reference manual during a holiday in order to "get ahead". Even if some of those folks could just be accepting of how normal the concepts of adult sexy crazy fun are, instead of thinking it is an alternative lifestyle. Damn tight wads anyway. Good luck with your excuses in Sept/Oct, us too.
I just tell them I going to the same resort in Cancun that I always go to. It's called Temptation. Isn't that a topless place? Yes it's topless at the pool. Isn't that a swingers resort? Yes, there are swingers there but you wouldn't know it because all the swingers I know keep it to themselves. Are you into that stuff??? Not anymore. Why pull punches?? He'll my kids know I've got a wild side a mile wide. At 50 years old, I'm exactly who I wanna be!! I'm me!! Take it or leave it.
Ha ha that's what we tell'em. The Riu Cancun. We actually stayed there our first time at Cancun and everyone was in bed by 10:30. Because of that we tried TTR and the rest is history. Everytime we go on Expedia to look for a new place to travel we always wind up booking TTR again! Greatest pool on earth.
We are in the same boat, don't know how to say it. Our parents are old school so we should have no problems especially if we say something like "oh it's called secrets.". Even though we do swing don't think they have a clue what that is.
Its funny as soon as you say Temptations Reort and Spa they look at you like a deer in the headlights. So we tell people all about the resort and how fun it is and beautiful. And that its a lot of thongs and topless women with unlimited supply of alcohol and Tequila and they all no how we get when we have a lot of beer. And showed some pics of Chinos and myself doing body shots on Angela & Cherri on the swim up bar. People parting like its spring break for adults. Hey just cause we get older (we are 38) doesn't meen we can't go have fun and party like we used to. Is funny to see some of my buddies wives look at me then Angela when we start talking about see thru thongs and topless women and how all ages go and have fun and party together. Is hilarious when there wife looks back at them when he's all ears listening to our stories about the pool games and the vibe and sometimes people get naked during some games at the pool and Lingerie night and how they bring hot dancers in for shows at Paty'O Lounge. Then we start getting questions and the looks from the wives. About Angela being topless and wearing a thong. And we answer and tell them it's a blast you should go sometime. We say relax its boobies and asses. It's priceless to see some people's faces. Lol
Some of our friends seems jealous and others seem a bit shocked. Her parents would have a stroke if they knew their daughter was running around topless at a resort and some of the things that go on there. My parents are different.They couldn't care less and thinks it's awesome that we have fun together and do things like this.As long as we are happy..they are happy for us So with that said..We are selective on telling people where we are actually going. Most of the time we are proud to say TTR but other times..we just have to say Cancun.
We really don't care what people say, friends or family. Life is to short, have alot of fun because you never when it will be your last day alive! Take chances you never know!
Now when we say we are going on vacation. They always say are you going back to that same resort. Lol! And we say with a smile ear to ear YEP!! You wanna go with us? Lol
