I worked with a couple of guys from Richfield Utah. They made me laugh because they would say hars and carn instead of horse and corn. Just about any word with or came out are.
I would think that, in fact I know, any Apple Store could look by the serial number. Apple has a great tracking system. Many lost or stolen Apple products are returned via their data base. LEO's use them all the time to return items. Best of luck.
Owner found!!!! Yay!!! Of course he's across the pond and already made a claim on the insurance and getting it replaced. I've offered to mail it so he'll have a backup. No answer yet. So we'll see. But at least I found him!
