You are likely right that they withheld rooms. I was there 10-17 and it was not noticeably more crowded than last September, in fact it seemed a little less crowded which surprised me after seeing so many people booking trips to get there before the closure. As for the bacon, I do find it funny. Maybe it's because it's different than what they get at home? I'm not sure if Canadian bacon is the normal replacement in Canada, but obviously it's different then in the UK. They do overcook it for my liking, though. Prefer a little bit of juiciness. Either way, the bacon talk pales in comparison to the Las Vegas buffet posts about crab legs. As a frequent traveler to LV, the forum I use has at least 2-3 different crab leg posts a week.
Can I post the video I took that day now? I also have an nc-17 version of a trip report from our Desire August trip
No please don't, alright how about we put that one on the back burner. Maybe if there's no activity for a straight 3 months we unlock it then. I know Donald and Marshe will make at least one comment before that time.
restaurants usually deep fry bacon as it's quick and the bacon crisps up quickly. As for the bacon Steve likes in the US it's Canadian bacon. Here in Canada it's either back bacon or peamale bacon. Have never had it over cooked have had it slightly undercooked though. Really like it when it's on top of an English muffin with a poached egg resting nicely on top smothered in Hollandaise sauce.
That is eggs Benedict. If you ever go to New Orleans, go to Brennan's. The eggs Benedict are unbelievable
Hey we were talking about Eggs Benedict fella when did it become about you and your shirt. LOL. hope you're having a great time down there
