So my white night "dress" fit in one of our bubba mugs with some room to spare. Two "outfits" fit in the other. We have the 20ozers. :icon_eek: I must make my mama so proud! Lol
Jamie ordered like a dozen pairs of new hooker heels for the trip...and two weeks ago she was running on a soft gravel trail...her foot sunk in 6 inches...while her body kept running. She decided not to get an x-ray...so now she's not sure about the heels. Most likely she'll wear them and medicate with alcohol.
Good lord!!!!!!! Jamie!!!!!!!!!! Edit: at first, I envisioned her running in the heels and was pretty confused as to why she would do that. Then I realized that you probably didn't mean that (I'm sticking with probably until I get confirmation!). Rest, ice, compression, elevation!!!! Somewhere around here someone mentioned legs overhead
She was sick of her treadmill, and took the dog for a run on a rare nice Spring day...the trail winds along a creek with much of it surrounded by hills...little sun...and soft, wet gravel. Her foot sunk and she took a major league digger...then limped her muddy ass home. I was simultaneously running on a sunny, dry trail...and returned injury-free.
Every time you tell one of your stories, I can visualize the facial expressions you give each other lol (This one and the full body cavity search story.)
Stacia said something in passing that you might look for... She said something about "Wedge sandles for by the pool." I think those would work great for Patyo's at night, when you might want some ass-jackers on, but the feet don't want to "work it." Just my amateur $0.02.
I have multiple pairs of flip flop sandals, and a few hooker heels packed. More than likely I'll be barefoot.
I totally empathize. A few years back I sustained an a avulsion fracture running at dusk on a cobble stone path in Cozumel. I medicated with tequila on that trip didn't get X-ray till back home. Then a year later I was on a trail run at home and was so interested in checking out the mini land slide that I was not careful running around the gunk and broke the other foot. I have a trail run 1/2 marathon to run this sat am and we fly to TTR at midnight... Even though it's my home turf I'm gonna go slow and hopefully broken free. I will bring you drinks and flat shoes can be sexy too!
