I am sure you were! That Depo is wicked though. I will never take it. The weight gain. AHHHH! It is in your system SO LONG. For me the pill I can stop at anytime and the side effects are gone quickly. I would hate to have to deal with me and my emotional changes for that long would be really bad for all involved. My guy was the one who encouraged the pill taking himself so he could be happy on the trip too...lets just say my emotional state was enough to say that if it happens agian he would prefer no nookie the whole trip if that is the punishment.

Also the Depo most likely stop her period right away she may need to have taken it last month. Usually it takes a few cycles to stop on that from what I heard.

I hate bc and so glad I no longer need to deal with it. G would love another child but it will cost about 6,000 to get it reversed. (I did it before I met him) That is 3 trip to TTR. When we have the money (and he makes an honest woman out of me first) we will see what we think. I know he would be the best daddy based on what I have seen so far. But not having to deal with bc is AWESOME!

 

A little too late for this trip, but endometrial ablasion has worked wonderfully for me. However, I am older and it was getting to be a pain. I had it done last year before we went to Blue Bay- Temptations- and has been almost totally cycle free! What is there rarely is not much of anykind of interference.

 

Thanks so much to everyone for the replies on this topic. Especially angibaby. The info is very helpful. I will watch out for any signs of something going wrong. So far just some slight nausea. I hope that subsides when my body gets used to the dosage. One good thing from that though is that i don't feel like eating anything much. some crackers or toast. lol

we had the same problems a few years ago. $250 to bump the trip forward a couple of weeks. Women got to learn to put with them-- only other course is to turn queer-- not an option!!!!

 

Man I never even thought of that. It has been so many years since I have had to worry about that. Had way to many problems with mine and my GYN had the baby factory removed and just left the play ground so any day is good for me. All I can say is I don`t miss them at all.
