No problem, Shelly. Keep in mind that you will need to book 2-3 months in advance, though. This technician is the best in town, so she's difficult to get in to see.
I've now washed my hair, coated my eyes in baby oil, and slept on them twice and they're still intact!
wow what us girls do in the name of beauty!! they are great looking though. i know it would be a waste of money for me, i would rub my eyes, and well they would be off!
Jubblies cream is addictive, as well as a lot of the LUSH products. Who do I thank for introducing me to such wonderful, soft, kissable and lovely Jubblies? I'll demonstrate in a few weeks
I got them thru a groupon deal and hated them. BUT, I dont think the lady knew what the hell she was doing. They were thick and attached to chunks of lashes instead of just one each.I ended up pulling them out in the end because they were hanging in my eyes. I really wanted to love them though....
Ah...sounds like what you got was "multiple singles". I made that mistake the first time, too, and I came out of there looking like Tammy Faye Baker. I was embarrassed to be seen in public and went back to the salon an hour later and made them remove the lashes. The only lashes worth getting are individual lash extensions.
So here I am reporting back about the liquid collagen and biotin supplement that I bought about a month ago in response to Laura's post about Biotin for eyelashes. I guess this stuff really works, as when I saw my extended family last weekend, my aunt asked me if I got a facelift (she thought I was my 30-year-old niece when I walked in), and my mother kept commenting on how good my skin looked. My nails have been growing like crazy, and are no longer splitting into layers at the edges. I have to keep filing them every few days because they get too long. Hair is growing fast too...which isn't good for me because I highlight it blonde so I am getting zipperhead faster than before...wah. I have not noticed ANY difference in my eyelashes, however, which was the whole purpose of the experiment! I guess the collagen part of the formula is more effective than the biotin. I haven't been using it every day...about every 2nd day. You mix it will juice, as it tastes like liquified plastic...ugh. If anyone wants to try the product I bought, I got it at a local health food grocery chain (Whole Foods). Comes in a pink and white box. Made by Lorna Vanderhaeghe. Called "Collagen Plus". It was expensive ($47), but was on sale for 25% off when I bought it. Cheaper than a facial or microdermabrasion though, and better results. I'm guessing the bottle is a 2-month supply if you use it every 2nd day (you are supposed to use it every day). I won't use it all the time, but will buy a bottle a couple of times per winter to boost the condition of my skin and nails. I think I might rub some on my butt for the next 2 weeks to see if any of the April Addicts will ask me if I got a butt-lift ha ha.
The Biotin has been helping my wife. After the first two weeks, she didn't notice any difference. Luckily, she bought about a 6 weeks supply worth as just the other day (now almost a month since she started taking it) her eyelashes are fuller and longer. She's happy about that.
