They are professional sports... but Toronto doesn't have professional teams It's probably in the top 3 Canadian cities though.

Hate to break it to you whdream.... but we are a high risk for terrorism. There were to targets listed in Canada for 9/11 that didn't get hit... just last year there was a terrorist cell busted that had 4 tons of fertalizer (Oklahoma only had 1 ton) which they were going to use in Toronto. Even the politicians now admit that it's not if.. but when will we get attacked. Health Care is mostly free.. but good luck finding a family Dr. We may not pay as much as everyone else for gas.. but that's no reason to accept things the way they are.... the gas companies are still reporting record billion dollar profits every years Again.. I'll say that I love Canada and would live no other place... but we have work to do to make it better
Well I have a family doctor, and for people that don't, how they don't I know...But still it's free Gas is Gas, and it's because of the US that it's that high...We have our own refineries but yet we send shit to the US to get refined.... We may be a minimal blip on the terror list, we aren't seen as hated country....
because family Drs are in short supply... and they're not taking new patients... very few new Drs are going into family practice..... plus there are tons of medications and proceedures that are not covered by our healthcare... I just paid 5,000 for an operation that would have been covered if I was a woman. Gas being so his has little to do with the US... it mostly involves the Canadian oil giants that set our prices.... in the 4th quarter of 2005 Esso's record profits reached 1 billion dollars. That's just in 3 months. The previous year they made half that. You can't tell me that if they dropped the price 10 or 20 cents that they'd lose money.... that's all net.. not gross If you really knew about all of the threats and close calls Toronto and Canada as a whole you would never leave your house. I swear to you we are a target and ignoring it will do no good.
Well clearly ignoring it is the way of the world. We can't sit and wait to be a target and have them follow through right? Anywhere can be targeted..I am just saying as opposed to the US we aren't number on the BIG hit list... As for gas it does affect us, hence the war on Iraq, didn't our prices sky rocket when Bush declred war?
That was the excuse that they gave us.... just like Katrina and refinery fires in Ontario. Iraq may be still going ... but the refineries that were shut down from Katrina are all back up and running... the refinery that was on fire has recovered..... but the prices never came back down after going back up..... Iraq is just an excuse of the greedy in order to make more profit.
