Yeah that last little bit leads me to think his post was influenced by wobbly pops lol! Oh well I get to sit back today and enjoy two CFL games with the NFL. Nightcap. Should be a good day while eating leftover turkey!

I do have to say that i would love to get out and be part of the roughriders game atmosphere. That looks like a great time. Truth be told, years ago i hated nfl and like cfl cause i loved how much throwing was going on. Now though i have a real appreciation for the running game and the strategy that goes into it. So, trying to go back and watch a cfl game just isnt the same. But hey, if anyone wants to throw some free argos tickets my way i'll head downtown and give it another shot.

Yeah you certainly don't see the ball run as much in the CFL due to the fact you have one less down to work with. Overall I like watching both types of ball. Each has it's own merits and drawbacks.

I haven't looked to see if they play our Chiefs this year, but if they do, it should be sure win for the Panthers...

Hey Canadian Friends, you'll have to excuse that post. Jets fans have been known to lose track of reality on a regular basis. After all the NY Jets don't even play in New York....they're across the river in New Jersey.

Looks like we will miss you guys this time. Booked the 24th-29th... Playoff football is better so we will postpone the football trip until then!

Don't recall telling you what football to watch.

Let's review. The original thread starter asked about availability of football at our fav resort. Seeing as his home is one of the 'holy trinity states' of American pigskin, I suspect he wasn't looking for a CFL fix.
This assumption is later confirmed by his query as to what you and others are referring to, immediately before I posted. Therefore I believe I was speaking/ answering him.

My response is poignant to the fact that, assuming he enjoys real football, the mystery teams he asks about, are not worth his effort to give credence to.
I nevr directed anything at you, but you later take a veiled shot at me.
I don't want to participate in continuing to contribute to the high-jacking of the thread, just informing the poster
I do invite an in depth debate , the week we both will be at TTR over some ' Johnny Shots' @ patyo's some late night if you wish, in regards to the merits of CFL versus NFL.
I expect you to have a better thesis than just 'I really like the CFL' and not more lame personal barbs. I also hope you have facts straight because your retort about government subsidies is way wrong.
For starters. . .( How much are the Feds pouring into Grey Cup this year?)

Just because you like something doesn't elevate its value. We all luv TTR but most of us admit it is not the 4 seasons. Or to convey it another way, a vg friend loves anything with a motor and can be raced He is a gearhead. He will watch lawnmower racing and luvs barstool racing. But he is astute enough to know it is not comparable to Nascar.
Continue liking your CFL, but don't attack someone who points out your emperor is naked.
    See you Diego's place.
