I have the same thing but they called it Plantar Fasciitis. When your first few steps out of bed in the morning causes severe pain in the hell of your foot, Its an overuse unjury affecting the sole or flexor surface (plantar) or the foot. A diagnosis of plantar fasciitis means you have imflamed the tough, fibrousband of tissue (fascia) connecting your heel bone to the base of your toes. I usually have to do different exercise to help it along:sunny:
thanks for all the advice everyone, much appreciated. I've been given some advice from someone on the board on some exercises to do, so i'll try that and see how i get on.
Unfortunately no, I did email you from my personal address, did it ever come through? I still haven't visited a doctor, just been very very busy but it's almost crippling at night time and after long periods of sitting in certain positions, like that area gets inflamed from inactivity or something?
Sam, My go to guy is Dr. Wajid Burad at Olympia Sports Medicine, on Calle Magaritas #49, just past Papeleria Cancun on the left, if you were going from Uxmal toward Parque las Palapas. His number is 884-0286. Office gal is Eloisa. It's ok there if you are my friend.
