Food for the fitness conscious?

    OSO Negro is the house vodka and jin. It is ok after you have a few and adjust to the taste. And after that you really don't care anyway,lol..

    agreed with the worry about fruits and veggies - I've been violently sick TWICE at Temptations (both trips regrettably) and my best guess is all the fruits and veggies. This year I am packing some meal replacements to cut down on my risk. I'll also only eat fruit I can peel and stick to cooked food when ever possible. The buffets are bacteria's heaven.

    Skol was the house vodka I saw. They also have it in a couple flavors including orange. In some bars they have Smirnoff. It is hit and miss. In others they have absolut and sky but sometimes they restrict that to premier members only.

    We drink mio fit with vodka and on special nights w sugar free red bull. Also captain and diets during the day poolside. We usually will make bfast OR lunch but not both. At bfast egg white omelet and fruit. Lunch grilled chicken. We end up eating less since we are mostly focused on the party. We usually lose 5-10 pounds each trip. That might be partially due to the dehydration that is natural in Mexico.

    Plenty of healthy choices all around. Janice is big on fruit at breakfast and has never had a problem. Wondering if anyone who had problems was possibly suffering from too much fruit...that hits me hard but (very) short term :( I simply avoid the issue on vacation and do a pound of bacon with a Mimosa or two for breakfast. Only gained 4 lbs in 9 days last November.

    Being active as you are I think you will be good with moderate over indulgence :) I know when I was hitting the gym 5 days a week and running 7 days a week my over indulgences (and I mean a lot) on vacation dropped off very quickly afterwards. Enjoy yourself and treat yourself :)

    We eat & drink everything while we are there!!! The alcohol kills whatever may get into your system
    No need to work out or worry about gaining weight just have sex 2 or 3 times a day to burn off the calories!!!

    You would be surprised at how your prior to vacation reservations about all of that seem to just disappear once you get down there, and get in the thick of it. I know for us we do not drink all day and all night, eat everything in sight, and fornicate like rabbits while we are home. Down there total different story. Just go with it, besides you'll be bouncing around dancing and whatnot you'll burn most of the calories you eat anyway.

    Surprisingly, I've lost weight each time I've gone to Tempation or Desire! It's very easy to make good choices that taste great. And alcohol has a way of (eh-hmm) "cleansing" the system, if you know what I mean.

    Stacey and I work very hard ate eating right and adding vigorous exercise daily..... While were at Temptations we seem to eat and drink everything in sight:] When the trip comes to an unfortunate end the scale always reads less than when we left. I wouldn't worry too much.... You are on VACATION!!!!
