I think the foam parties are harder to do in cooler months because foam bubbles are harder to maintain in cooler weather or cool water. It's probably a lot easier to hold a successful foam party when it's hot out. Just my theory. If we make it known to the resort or the entertainment staff how much we enjoy the foam party though I would think they would be happy to keep it going.
NYE is always a fun time. Most of the crowd (50% -60%) are long time returnees and therefore know each other. So it is a friendly and very social week. the resort is always sold out. But becuz it is over holidays, the staff is sometimes undermanned due to giving some employees some family time. So when issues arise, sometimes it takes a bit b4 they are corrected. Some regular events (I.e. NTVB, foam party) tend to be cancelled depending on the weekday NYE falls. the crowd tends to dress up for NYE and the countdown show is held at/ in the sports pool. Temporary bars and service staff are nearby. Overall it is a great way to ring in/out the calendar. Not sure if this is the info you looking for
Nye Perfect! We are going but just wanted to get an idea what to expect. Always had our own party at home with about 30-40 people but doing something different this year!! MORE fun!!!
Don't need the pool to be heated. It's only dec. january that the pool is cold .. If the pool was headted in April-May until september / october... Pretty sure no one will be in the pool !! =) as it's really hot. Someday even the water don't refresh!! So you need to drink more !! hahah We've been when it was 42-43 degree outside, and I was glad that the pool was chilly !
