Nope, WHO (world heath orginization) says to stop travel or block borders does not work. Mexico needs our money as well as the airlines and everybody else. It's all about money. They want people that have the money prepared and need to get people out for the new ones. Think about it! Don
It wouldn't be overly terrible to be stuck in paradise for a while. Now missing a pay check could hurt.
What would be wrong with that? Ohmigod...we are stuck in cancun and can't go back to work...DAMNIT. My family will just have to sell my stuff and send me the money we'll find somewheres to live down there.
Can I get a amen to that?? Last trip to TTR, I got Montezuma's Revenge the day after we landed back in the states. I figure if I can live through that, I can survive anything!!! See ya in less than 48 hrs!!
we just got back last nite....had a blast. didnt even get the runs this trip...hehehe the news says you are only hearing of the worst cases from this flu. It no different from any other flu. people die all the time from different flus...i think this is just being blown outta wack.....go and have a blast. didnt even hear about it till we arrived in LAX... just my .02
I love the power of the true Cancun repeaters! Only sadness I feel about this trip is reading that someone will be there before me and I have to go to work 14 more wake up's til we get there. I hate more than anything about what I am going to post. We were going to be at TTR from 5/03 thru5/08 for one $ell of a party and it was my birthday party at that.We were bringing two outher couples that had never been and they were as happy as we were to get to go. I have read all the news hype about this flu and maybe it is all BS but I cannot take that chance. You might say I am mad and sad but we had to do what is right for us.We have rebooked and are now going to the Bahama for my birthday party and everyone is invited. We are staying at breezes wich is an all-Inclusive resort. By no means am I trying to change anyone mind about go to Mexico you have to do what is right for you. Owell enough about the F word. I hope everyone has a wonderful vacation where ever you choose to go. We will look at TTR for later in the year maybe or try for next year becouse once you go you will trust me on this one ( YOU WILL BE HOOKED).DAM this FLU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fyi .......... im not sure if the media has told you guys this or not but just in case they have not - you can catch the flu there as well.... but since the media has not reported that - i guess it makes it a safe place :?: :!: :idea: also if you are taking a plane make sure that you dont stop in new york, dallas, san diego or houston................or any place else for that matter as...............guess what..............they got people whom have died from the flu bug there as well
