How's this for over hype. I told a customer that the service we are providing him with is as good as it's going to get (I actually told him, we are fantastic, but we are not perfect), and that if he is not happy he is welcome to go to other providers. (I do not believe in telling someone that we can give them something that we can't and then having my guys bend over backwards for something non-existant). Now he is pissed off at me, and the way to get even. He called our call centre and informed them that "the local manager visited my address last week just after he got back from Mexico, and now I am concerned about the Swine Flu".
Sorry didn't realize you work in the health profession on the front lines as they say. Common sense there I work for DND and we just got a gloom and doom CANFORGEN that was filled with erroneous information (based on official gov't releases anyways). The facts are can be changed by whatever spin someone puts on it is my point here. See you soon Race ya to Steves cruise on the 21st. Scott
No problem. I am still very much up in the air about whether to go. Believe me I want to go but will I end up having to stay away from work when I get back just to avoid the possiblity that I may have pick up swine flu while in mexico. It's totally a waiting game for us and well may hurt me in the paycheck when I get back as well.
Hey Gang, It is just the Flu! We go through the Flu thing every year. We get Flu shots and somtimes they work and sometimes they do not. Give me the Flu over montezuma's revenge any day. Remember it's just the Flu. Have fun and can't wait until May 13th.
I will second that, it is a lot of hype, just dont want to see the boarders close due to the hype and I am tired of people telling me not to go! Just hoping Steve will say no problem so I can tell all the people bugging me that all is well! Terry
Know the feeling TerryB - been getting questions/phone calls all day. Personally I think Obama has it hyped up to take the heat off of him.
