I don't know all the details of your trip planning, but just in case: a package from www.selloffvacations.com includes "Temptation" hotel (min 5 days), DIRECT flight from Toronto to Cancun (about 3 hrs long) and a round trip transfer - alltogehter much cheaper than booking everything separately for the time I am going there. I think it was something like "promo-package" from "Signature Vacations". Unless you have lots of air miles or points you can use.
It's actually $400 more for a package with them for a regular room than what we just paid on Expedia for a jacuzzi room and flight (with West Jet - direct there, overnight layover in Montreal on the way back). I just have to pay extra for hotel transfers and $85 for a hotel room in Montreal for the night on the way back. Still worth the savings to me, plus bonus jacuzzi room!
