Well Cinderella's carriage is actually a big honkin' pumpkin again. But Boy was that ever exciting to watch. Vegas has no shame! Too bad that diva Ovie gets his name on Stanley.
I should point out I have nothing against the Golden Knights but grew up in Balt-Wash area and have been waiting forever for the Caps to win it!!!! And I am happy for A. Ovechkin as MVP. I WILL be happy whenever the GKs beat any of the Canadian teams for the cup!
What are our thoughts on the new season?!?! I'm a huge Red Wings fan and admittedly, this year has been better than expected. Shedding some of these bloated veteran contracts and young guys finding their feet has produced .500 results.
As a Sabres' fan I am thrilled. They are fun to watch again. Not quite up to the French Connection Days, but pretty good entertainment value overall. It looks like we may see some new faces in the playoffs and maybe even, gasp, more than just one Canadian team in the playoffs.
Blues hoisting the cup after a 52 year drought is an incredible experience. Not sure if I ever thought I would see this happen.
