Wow would of never thought that would have happened! I guess you never know, thats why they play the game. Maybe there will be a chance of Wings and Penguins again!
Holy Mackeral, all three of the top seeds in the East are gone. I suppose that happened before, but I can't remember when. Of course I hated to see the Sabres lose, but the playoffs all come down to who is hot in April, May and June rather than who was hot in November. One of the writers had Washington as the overall number 1 seed and Montreal as the number 16 seed. Just goes to show how much they, or any of us for that matter, know.

Who would have believed that the top four and maybe even the top five seeds from the East would be gone. All the supposed favorites have bit the dust. Let's see, San Jose and Montreal for the Cup. Maybe Chicago and Philly. I wonder what the Vegas odds on this one would have been.
