Well there are tons of p!ssed-off, angry, Red Wing Fans in Metro-Detroit. They all thought for sure the Wings would win and were counting on a huge celebration last night “Bye Stanley, hello heartache” http://www.freep.com/article/20090613/NEWS05/906130484/So long Stanley hello heartache But the Wings simply played poorly in the last two games and as I’m neither a Red Wings or Pens fan, it really doesn’t matter to me. Although I certainly enjoyed teasing fans of both teams! I’m very happy to see Evgeni Malkin win MVP & Conn Smythe despite all of the unwarranted media hype for Sidney Crosby. Malkin certainly deserved it. :thumbsup: Lastly, I hope we see teams other than the Red Wings and Penguins make it to next year’s Stanley Cup with one exception: I would love to see the Buffalo Sabres crush the Red Wings in a future Stanley Cup series!

Hopefully they award Geno the Hart trophy after all this....I thought he deserved it for his regular season performance, and of course that's what its based on...but hopefully they look past just the reg season and give it to him based on his playoff performance as well
