Still moving up... In 3rd now, 1 point behind NYR who have 3 games in hand. Nice to see my top two teams in 1st and 2nd in the East. If Montreal & Boston can both keep it up, hopefully they won't have to play each other in the first round again. ---- Lang had two goals and an assist, and Tanguay and Kovalev each had two assists to lead Montreal to a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night. The Canadiens improved to 4-0-1 on their franchise-record seven-game homestand.
yep, was a good game, chicago was VERY excited to host the event!! I was happy to see it played at wrigley, looked like a huge success!
of course I watched it, brother is a die hard Wings fan, and I was hoping maybe the Hawks would get it done, but it was fun to watch none the less. Penguins FINALLY snap out of their funk last night with a win over Atlanta, lets see if we can turn it into something!
just got my tickets in the mail today, February 8th me and the younger brother are heading to Mellon Arena to see my Penguins against his Red Wings!! cannot wait!!!
I've already told everyone in da Burgh that you're rooting for the Eagles, you are in deep doo doo!
The Caps (2nd in the entire Conference I believe at the time) lost to a non-playoff team that was missing 7 starters last weekend. Getting shutout by a 20 year-old rookie goalie. The loss prevented the Caps coach from coaching in the all-star game. Owner Ted Leonsis linked to this video joking that maybe this wasn't quite his response. http://fairwaysanddreams.blogspot.com/2009/01/ted-leonsis-reacts-to-loss-to-blue.html
