fair enough... expecting to start spending more time in the office than I do in planes by Dec 23rd. It's all yours for the rest of 2008. Thanks for keeping her primed for me... less work on my part later... Go Habs Go!
The Capitals thank the Habs for last night (as do I as I spent an evening w/my bros watching at Humperdinks). A clip of Ovechkin:
and congrats to the habs who i believe are the only team to score an empty netter, but then still have to worry about a team tying things up, but hey they love commanding big leads only to have their opponent come back and either force ot/shoutout or give them some serious worrying oh well go habs go!
HABs back working their way back up the rankings... Tied for 3rd, while NYR have 4 games in hand and are only 2 games up. It's nice to see our defense men return from their on-ice sabbatical. Imagine the damage the HABs could be doing when Komisarek returns, Kovalev decides he wants to start putting the puck in the net and we start capitalizing on our power play opportunities.
Avery banned six games Stars forward agrees to professional anger management evaluation Friday, 12.05.2008 / 10:16 AM / News The National Hockey League announced Friday morning that Avery has been suspended for six games without pay, retroactive to Tuesday's game in Calgary Avery also agreed to seek professional anger-management evaluation and, if necessary, structured counseling in light of his pattern of behavior, which the NHL has deemed unacceptable and antisocial. Avery will not be eligible to play again for the Stars until Dec. 16 ----------------------------- He's a hockey player, not a spokesperson for a publicly traded Fortune 1k company... Sloppy Seconds = No Pay? The comment was hilarious, the smack talk was at its best and none of it deserved a suspension, little less a public hearing. I hope he learns something from his peers in anger management class and comes back with a vengeance!
