7-1 in the playoffs isnt SO bad.......we played like shit today.....too many stupid penalties, Malkin's weak ass penalty shot attempt and Malone's breakaway miss.....not to mention Staal missing an open net. Just all around bad play....Oh well, we wanted to end it in the 'Burgh anyway

Story of our lives the our last 3 games as well... We've been out shooting, out playing, out hitting the flyers and damaging a lot of posts since game 1, we just can't make it count on the score board. Until we put a couple guys in front of their net to pick up some rebounds, it's not going to change much... Byron is great at blocking the first shot (as are most goalies), but he lets out a lot of rebounds and the Habs haven't taken advantage of that. And we have to start hitting the net a lot more. Too many wide shots on the far side are clearing the zone and creating odd man rushes. We were taught in Bantam that if you're going to miss the net, miss on the inside, never on the far side... Basic hockey will beat the Flyers...
I was being sarcastic. As a big fan, I can hope they can pull it off and come all the way back or at least make it a series again, but chances are that all the Rangers did by winning last night was give the Pens a chance to win it at home so they and the fans can celebrate on home ice!!!!! bastards!!!! oh well. at least they werent swept!
