Moderator Mike: A question for you, Jlow. Your extensive experience as a Blockbusters manager would appear to give you an edge among many voters. But I wanted to ask you about your knowledge of online DVD rentals. In particular, Netflix. Is it fair to say that they are a legitimate competitor to Blockbuster's online expansion, or are they just a gnat to a movie outlet giant? Also, who makes a better President to you: Harrison Ford, Warren Beatty, Chris Rock, Martin Sheen, Michael Douglas, or Gina Davis?
Very good Questions Mike I would have to say that Netflix is a legitimate competitor, as you can see since Netflix and other online/mail order DVD rental companies have come out it has forced the BIG Corporations like Blockbuster and Hollywood video to break out of the norm and be competitive w/ these new versions of video rentals. Hollywood and Blockbuster both now have monthly rental programs making it cost effective and convenient for the busy working mom or dad to rent movies and not have to worry about late fees and other such inconveniences. As for the better President I myself would say Chris Rock's "That Ain't Right" approach in his movie "Head of State".

Moderator Mike: That's a light-hearted sales pitch by the gentleman from Across the Pond. Mr. jody04, as you've stated just now, decent British films occur infrequently. This is not a reflection on your own qualifications, of course. However, you are closer to the subject than the other candidates, so I ask you: What in your mind has been the best two or three British films that have been released in the past two years and why?
on the spot now mike ,,the 2 which have done pretty good across the pond which you may have seen are 28 days later was pretty cool and layer cake ,,28 days later was a very similar take on dawn of the dead ,,without the budget,but some excellent casting and a creepier undertone made it a stand out film!! layer cake was the traditional british gangsta movie ,,but less of a budget than the guy ritchie films and clever casting and a clever script made this a genuinly great film!! i think the british gangsta movies are a bit of a struggle for the rest of the world because of the cockney rhyming slang often used and places and people often reffered to !!!!
