flamingo I have never been to Cancun before but I will be staying at the Flamingo from the 16th-23rd, so I'll be sure to write a trip report when I get back.
Has anyone stayed here in the last 2 years?? Can someone who has been here recently give a review, please. Thanks in advance! We will be there in February.
Been there almost every year for the past decade. I think it is rated a three-star resort. The food at the buffet is good, but you won't see shrimp & lobster. We'll be there again in January. I heard from one of the employees that there is a nice new 200-foot beach.
Has anyone stayed at the Flamingo lately? On their website they have a crazy cheap rate of $110/nt all inclusive based on 2 ppl including taxes...(for early December)...I'm wondering what the catch is, that's the lowest AI price I've seen...
Flamingo I stayed at the Flamingo this past spring break and I was kind of hesitant as I saw a lot of bad reviews on sites, but it was great. The staff was fairly friendly, and we slipped the woman at the desk like $25 and she gave us an ocean view room, which had a balcony and great view. The all inclusive is definately a must. The drinks were good and definately make reservations for the restaurant for dinner as it is included in the all inclusive and they have different things to order. I got the filet mignion twice. I've only stayed at the flamingo so I can't compare it to any other cancun hotels, but if you are looking for a place to relax and have a good time, with cheap rates, the flamingo is the way to go. I can't imagine needing anything better than the flamingo that I would pay for.
