B.T., the best way to reach him is by phone. Mauricio is a real gentleman, speaks English, charges very reasonable fees, and does a good job. The last time I consulted him his cell phone number was 9981591599. If this number doesn't work for you, let me know.
bt, for Perm Res but I also needed to get a Permiso de Salida y Regreso as I was going to be leaving Mexico for a few days. When Mauricio told me that I was approved, and to meet him the nest morning at INM for fingerprinting, turning in my pix, and to pay, he turned in the application for the Permiso. The phone number that V posted for him is his current number. His usual office hours appear to start between 3:40 PM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. I think I posted earlier that I have known about Mauricio for years but had never used him. I don't have anything but 100% positive comments to say about Mauricio. He is pleasant, incredibly efficient, his fees are reasonable, he is friendly and punctual.
3,000 pesos seems to have been his case rate for a long time, now, with some things costing more, perhaps. As low as his fees are, he's still not the cheapest around, though. The group of lawyers I mentioned, who office across the street from INM, are said to be even cheaper. I spoke with someone who has used them for many years yesterday, and she said she'd provide contact info for them which I'll share when I get it.
We paid about $3K pesos per person and for us it was well worth it. I believe TJ paid the same just recently.
Same here: 3000 pesos. Well worth not having to set foot in that place and use the time for beach, bicycle, dogs, snorkeling and such
