Bare footed girls are my personal favorite... . And it cuts down on baggage fees at the airport.. Just saying.
At 5' 2" I likely won't be taller than anyone even with my biggest, bestest heels on. Besides, I just got a new pair so I *have* to bring those! Now to decide if it's worth bringing my purple faux-cowboy boots that will only get worn one evening...
Christa (zebra) was the same way, but I doubt she will bring more than 5 pairs of bottoms next year. Just hang out in your underware like the rest of them Darin & Melissa, yes a top from time to time, but the girls I was with this year just used sarongs (unsure on spelling of that one) For the most part you just should be covered when you leave the pool or are eating, it can even be transparent or see through, just has to be covered. If she has mesh bottoms, or see through bottoms, also a good idea to have some cover up. They have giant red towels so its all good.
The shopping has been non stop for my girl...I dont even want to know just how much..LOL It will be all worth it when i see her all dressed up though
I guess i forgot to mention that she does have a few cover ups, just won't bring tops. Besides, leaving a weeks worth of tops behind means she can get another pair of shoes in the suitcase.
Cutting down on shoes does make a huge difference on the weight of baggage - seriously! I try to bring one pair of comfortable higher heeled shoes that will work with dress up themes, and the rest of my shoes are lighter sandals - I will wear the heaviest/bulkiest shoes on the plane, but they have to be comfortable. I have learned in my old age that I am no longer able to deal with shoes that look great but hurt like hell to wear, life is too short!! I would rather compromise for comfort now! Also, safety at TTR is huge for me, I almost killed myself slipping around in shoes that were hard to walk in - never again!
Weigh your suitcase before you leave - don't be "that" girl & have to repack at the check-in counter because your bag is overweight.......sigh says "that" girl. (But he tells me it was worth the hassle to have the shoes)
