They can't pay their rent in Canadian coins. Banks won't take them so then they wait for Glenn to buy it off them. Peso is best so you don't get ripped off at the stores but USD are accepted every where.

If I were in from the US, hands down I would just us US money. Our UK friends and Canadians are different. We will have to convert to something....the question is to what?

I worried about this a lot before our first trip. I bring my Boobs Cruise money and USA Transfer money in US and the rest is all Pesos. Things in the store are priced in Pesos, I tip in Pesos, and I know I won't be screwed on a conversion. The first day or so I was a little confused but after that it was 100% fine.

Assuming OP stands for Original Poster, I did not notice where they were from before posting. You are right, my advice is best for US travelers.
