Every one will have there own opinions,, Cash machine s in Mexico have a bad rep for user fees.


Even if you have a no-fee interact card ,, those contracts don't transfer to Mexico sometimes.

 

There is no point in changing your pounds to US$ to tip only to have your server have to go and change US$ to peso's. I can understand Americans using US$ because they don't have to change them. But Canadians, English, or anyone else should go straight to pesos.

last time I got 6% more peso,s in the transaction, and they had smaller notes good for tipping.

you got it! its always in your favor to pay any vendor in Pesos as well as it helps to negotiate and take out the confusion out of calculation...

 

Use a bank ATM and. Or other ATM machines. You get the best rate even if they charge you a fee. All others are just a rip off and take advantage of you.
