We don't know any of those sorts of people that go to TTR. *grinning as I write this* You'll find everything you want at TTR and possibly more than you expected. The official motto of TTR is "Nobody knows you and nobody gives a shit!" You can be anyone/anything you want to at TTR and when you get back home, none of friends will ever know. You can be as flirtatious, exhibitionist, sexy, fun, and open as you choose and no one at the resort will judge you for it. (Most will probably even encourage it!! :flash We'll be there from the 12th - 24th. If we are there when you arrive, c'mon over and introduce yourselves to us and we'll "buy" the first round and introduce you to the group. I'll be pretty easy to spot as I'll probably be the only guy running around the pool with a white cowboy hat with a bikini top on it and my darling wife, Baby J, will be somewhere in the pool wearing the matching bottoms. I promise I don't bite, and Baby J, well she only nibbles a lil bit.
I love this question as it brings back so many happy memories of our 1st trip to TTR 3 years ago. We came to TTR with very similar concerns. Jen didn't think she would go topless. Questioned whether she would want to wear the wicked weasel thong i bought her , brought Lingerie for Lingerie night but were not 100% sure we would wear it, etc. We had the talk… meaning how far do we want to go and we landed very close to where it sounds like you landed. We really were not concerned about anyone making us uncomfortable though as this board really helped ease those concerns (kind of what it is likely doing for you now). We pushed the envelope prior to TTR but that pretty much means a sexy dress, drinking and dancing at a night club where maybe there was some flirtatious talk/behavior that was always just in good fun but the night always ended with just the two of us and we wanted it that way. Then we got to TTR. We had the opportunity to do what we want when we wanted without any pressure. Top came off, Jen wished she had more thongs and theme night wear, we were comfortable at Lingerie, did plenty of girl/girl body shots (no lines were crossed we didn't want crossed) and we found out you can fit 6 naked ladies in one of the hot tubs Use your own imagination there (or read our 2010 trip report) ha

Thanks everyone! Sounds like a blast. We've been to plenty of AI resorts before, but hoping this one will be more memorable! Still not 100% on the dates... We are last minute people, and just working on some days off from work. Probably early December...Maybe late November. Hoping the resort isn't empty that time of year.
Plan your trip around December 5th-9th cause were in our twenties as well we can all be part of the younger crowd! Especially as we are also interested in the same things you guys are! And it seems that there is an awesome crowd that will be there at that time!

I believe everyone has had the same concerns that you have expressed as they booked there first trip to TTR. These quickly go away once you arrive, and get a feel for the resort. Although we have been told the crowd can vary quite a bit during different times of the year, the atmosphere does not. The only problem we have with TTR is it's addictive nature. Once you have been bitten you can't get enough of this place. You find yourself thinking out load " I want to go back" , or that your new(or old) friends didn't live so far away. Before you know it you are finding every excuse to book another week, and all you can do is look back and wonder why you din't find this place sooner.
